Today we finalised the amount artists and the NZ Art Guild have raised for the MentalHealth Foundation of NZ.....
$2000 !!!
This is a fantastic result and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the artists that participated in this project (without you it wouldn't have happened!).
Thank you to all the helpers behind the scenes - especially to Melissa Muirhead for coordinating this project and liasing with Mental Health and Allan Muirhead for all the woodwork and framing.
An extra thank you goes to the 39 artists who donated their payment to such a worthy cause.
I'm looking forward to presenting the cheque on Friday to Shaughan Woodcock at MHF.
